The SDG Secretariat participated in the 18th National Youth Day Celebration Ceremony that was held on 1 August 2023 at the International Convention Centre, Berakas.

His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam consented to visit the SDG Secretariat exhibit at the 2023 National Youth Day Exhibition after the 18th National Youth Day Celebration Ceremony. Accompanying His Majesty were His Majesty's sons and brothers.

The SDG Secretariat featured the contribution of youth in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in Brunei Darussalam, including the outcomes of the SDG Youth Dialogue, particularly the SDG Youth Statement that outlines the perspective of youth as future sustainability leaders.
