On 3-4 February 2024, the Office of Assistance Vice-Chancellor (Research), Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) organized an event at the UBD Library where graduates looking to advance their academic and research capabilities could engage with lecturers and researchers to learn more, including research on Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). The participation of the SDG Secretariat in this event provided an opportunity to educate about the SDG and raise awareness of the importance of research in developing new approaches toward a sustainable future for the nation. Observing the vast papers published by UBD in reference to the SDG, UBD is set to become a significant driver for sustainable development in Brunei Darussalam through developing knowledge and data.
